 Ouidad Cleansing Oil- A

Much like Ouidad Curl Co-Wash it’s gentle and cleanses without stripping moisture from your hair. The difference is that the Cleansing Oil is a little stronger than the Co-Wash. I would recommend the Co-Wash on days where you sense a little product build up and your curls are in need of a moisture packed pick me up. Whereas the Cleansing Oil is great for your true wash day because it’s a more thorough cleanser and focuses on hair revitalization and repair. It has a ton of slip and left my hair soft, strong and shiny. It is a little more pricy than the average shampoo but it is a quality sulfate and paraben free product that is worth the investment. In addition, only a small amount (quarter size) was needed to get the job done and  so the bottle will easily last me 5-6 months. Overall the Cleansing Oil is a great shampoo for curlies and will be added to my rotation.

Ouidad Whipped Curls- A+

I love this conditioner. It is perfect to use  in conjunction with the Cleansing Oil or any shampoo for that matter. The difference between this conditioner and so many others is that it rejuvenates curls that can be lifeless as a result of washing. To be sure of this, I used Whipped Curls after washing with a sulfate shampoo that I hate (which will remain nameless) and it STILL did this trick. Whipped Curls is surprisingly thick and full bodied. It is great for detangling and coats the hair perfectly without weighing it down. It can be used as a leave-in conditioner or a conditioning primer meaning, that it can be rinsed out for folks with very fine hair. I have fine hair, but I opted to leave it in. After, I diffused and the heat from the diffuser opened my cuticles only activating the conditioner more. Overall, I feel in love with this conditioner and will be my new go-to conditioner on my wash day.
