Yes. I used heat. (Cue screams, gasps and Shanti and Hey Fran Hey shaking their heads in dismay at me). But as stated in the video, I use heat on my hair sometimes and CAN’T NOBODY TELL ME NOTHIN. (Remember that post? lol ) Anyway, I take really good care of my hair and it’s the healthiest it has been in a while so I figure, I can. Now, I am not the girl that has splits ends, heat damage and dry hair constantly picking up the Chi. To those of you out there that are…. STOP IT!!! Wait till your hair has been nursed back to health and is good and ready. Keep in mind, I do diffuse with my blow dryer but I don’t count that because diffusing mixed with my leave-in and aloe vera gel is like giving myself a mini deep conditioner. I swear. And if Kim K doesn’t count botox as plastic surgery then I damn sure ain’t counting my diffuser as heat. #boom

Nice! Curling irons do not tend to cause hot damage the way flat irons do on my hair so this is a nice option! I too have fine hair and I am unsuccessful with bantu knot outs! Way to go Antoinette! You’ve done it again!

Do you get 2nd day hair out of this? My hair is so fine, I have never achieved 2nd day hair, but I would loooove to try this look!
no : ( BUT I did it on a blow out and got 3rd day hair. I’m working n that video now.

Yes, I’ve been waiting on new vids from you Antoinette.
As a fine haired curly myself I have a hard time of achieving cute hairstyles that I can wear down. Most time it ends up looking too piece-y or scalp-y so I throw it up in a bun/ponytail or some kind of updo.
But sometimes I want to show of my curls and my length and wear it down y’know, lol?
Ah, Antoinette, I washed this in silence because I’m in the library and your expressions had me crying with laughter. I love the way when you were finished, your face said, “you all know this hair is hot!” and yes, yes it is. I think I will have to try this soon. And to think just last week I actually contemplated getting rid of my curling iron!
