Thank you! This article came at the perfect moment! I just finished washing my hair ten minutes ago and was just telling someone how the hair in the middle if my head is so different and much more fragile than the rest of my hair. I can’t stand it!
Thanks for posting this, I feel like no one ever addresses this!I can’t be the only one with this problem! The middle of my hair is so tender, and dry and I can’t figure out why even after moisture it remains so brittle. I’ve resolved to put it in braids for a while and give it a break because sometimes I’m convinced it doesn’t actually grow. I think sitting under the dryer with conditioner is starting to help but any tips are appreciated and I’ll try them soon when my hair is loose again.
i have always had this same problem! and definitely was treating that area as a ‘bothersome afterthought’ — i will begin making it a focus of my regimen & try using the aloe vera juice. thanks for the advice!
The hair in my crown is the opposite. It’s the most straight hair, barely a wave. There is a spot I have in the middle back though that is the devil. Dry, breaking off, still and tangled beyond anything. I’m not sure why it’s that way. Perhaps I need to be a little more careful when dealing with it. I’m all out of aloe too. Thanks for the reminder to put it back in my regimen. Thanks for the post!

Thats a good idea. Even tho my hair has come a long way in the middle. It still remains different than the rest of my hair. That’s ok!
