An Interview with Kasheera and KingAH about Quitting Your Job and Chasing Your Dreams

I recently met up with the awesome couple Kasheera Latash and her man KingAH (Mark) to talk about the couples decision to escape the route of the 9-5 and begin the uphill journey of self-employment. This is a interview that I am going to be sharing in different installments. This first video “When Enough is Enough” talks about the initial decision to quit and the thought process and preparation that that leap requires. If you are not familiar with Kasheera and Mark, get up on it and check out their awesome Youtube Channels. Hers and His.

  1. Ummm Shanti- I can’t write all what I’m thinking here but this was an excellent video! More thoughts on it via your email.
    xo

  2. I absolutely love your blog and this video. I can’t wait for the rest. My husband and I have the discussion about chasing our dreams quite often. I’m still trying to find out what my clay is.

    • That takes time. I think we feel very rushed in this society. We are on a timeline. I think serious thought and consideration needs to go into your life’s purpose but we have to also be gentle with ourselves and faithful that it will be revealed to us. Keep talking and questioning and searching. How lucky you are to have a partner to help!

  3. One thing I get from you Shanti, is good energy. Whether through your posts or a video. You have this energy that pulls people in and keeps us there. Talking to people is your thing. I’m not sure in want form but you make people feel comfortable. That’s what I get. Great Interview.

    • Thats fuel. I needed to read this. It makes me feel comforted that maybe what I am doing is worth it. I really appreciate this comment. Thank you

  4. This. Just. Gave. Me. LIFE. Annnnnd let me tell you why. I have been struggling with this for two years. I have such a strong desire to do more in and with my life, but today I was at the brink of giving up on my dreams. I wanted to give up because I don’t have clay, play-doh, or silly putty. I often, incorrectly, work under the assumption that other people have it all figured out, and I’m the only one not living my dream. I sincerely thank you, Kasheera, and KingAH for sharing with us. Btw, if the work you are doing now is not your clay, WHEW I cannot wait to see what else you have to offer :-)

  5. Wow Shanti, you did a beautiful job interviewing them. I didnt want it to end and look forward to more. You have a gift….

  6. “How you attract money is how you view it.” Mark better talk that talk. I love this couple. I love how supportive they are of each other. They are blessed and witnessing their love is a blessing.
